Lives are busy and we understand that you, as our customer, might need assistance to pack your belongings. Its certainly a daunting task to pack your home or your business. We are here to help and even have some handy hints set out below to make your house move run a little smoother! There are some handy YouTube videos on packing if you are opting to self-pack which will help you pack in a way that will protect your fragile belongings.
If adding our packing service onto your contract is appealing, please feel free to speak to us in order to discuss your requirements--we offer varied packing solutions from a full house pack to fragile pack or you might just want your hanging clothes placed into wardrobe boxes. Helpful Packing Tips

  • If you have opted to do your own packing then either use boxes provided by your mover or ensure that they are strong enough...ideally double-wall
  • Secure with parcel tape top and bottom and never just fold the flaps over
  • Mark with felt tip on the top of the box or on the tape itself as to the room it is going to and also mark clearly if it contains fragile items
  • Don’t make boxes too heavy, it is often a good idea to have heavy items at the bottom and then fill with lighter or softer goods
  • Ensure bottle lids are all tight and pack standing up
  • Any knives or sharp items should be wrapped prior to packing to ensure they cannot protrude from the box and cause injury
  • Last important tip... get a good nights sleep the night before the move with the peace of mind that comes from booking the right company for your move

Having completed the bulk of your own packing, our team can then come in and finish the process for you. For example you might wish us to pack your kitchen or fragile belongings. We can discuss your specific requirements at the time of your initial quote or there could be scope for this service to be added at a later date.
